The night after getting pummelled by Norman, Dan returned to the bar with buddies from his wrestling school. At first it seemed Dan had gotten some backup to deal with Norman, but it didn’t turn out that way—his friends decided if Dan couldn’t handle Norman, that wasn’t their problem—and if Danny
and Runt
still got to him, those were a couple burrs he really needed to get out of his mane.
Dan decided to have himself a beer, but saw Troy sneaking up on him from behind—apparently, the cat didn’t think that an advertisement on a polished metal plate would make such a good mirror. Dan spun and faced Troy and demanded to know what he was thinking. Upon receiving lip from Troy, Dan decided to give him a fat one, bust it, and go on to the rest of Troy’s face. Dan’s buddies will eventually pull Dan off of Troy, but for now it’s beer and pretzels—or in Norman’s case, a bag of crisps—in lieu of popcorn.
